1920 census -- She is listed as Olive V. Olive.
1923 -- Her mother (Agnes's) obituary lists her as Mrs. Ollie Olive.
1925 -- Her death certificate lists her name as Olive V. Olive; the informant was her husband John L. Olive.
1962 -- Her daughter (Glady's) death certificate says that her mother's maiden name was Ollie Dickinson.
In 1910 at age 22 she was living on the farm, now headed by her widowed mother, along with her brothers Lanam (29) & Dunaway (17). Her mother and brothers were farmers and she was a housekeeper for a private family.
On December 17, 1911, she married John Lamont Olive in King George County.
In 1920 at age 31 she and her husband are living on Emerson Street in Washington, DC with children Gladys I. (6) and John S. (3 yrs, 2 mos). Gladys was born in Virginia, but John was born in the District of Columbia. Her husband was a salaried employee as a furniture store salesman.
At the time of her death their residence was in Aurora Hills in Arlington County, Virginia. She died in Alexandria Hospital of spleno-myelogenous leukemia [originating in the spleen and bone marrow]. She was only 37 years old.
