Ollie C. Rentz dies In Galesburg; funeral Saturday
MT. STERLING — Mrs. Ollie Crabtree Rentz, 89, of Galesburg, formerly of Mt. Sterling, died at 7:50 p.m. Thursday. June 30, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Galesburg.
She was born in Union, Iowa, June 30, 1893, a daughter of Everett and Nancy Evelyn Swaim Rash. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
She was first married to B.O. Crabtree, May 14, 1911, and he died in 1944. She was then married to John Rentz, April 19, 1948, and he died in 1960.
She is survived by a daughter, Helen Altshire of Galesburg, a sister. Mrs. Lenna Jenkins of Park Falls, Wisc., six grand and three great grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hufnagel Funeral Home, with burial in Hersman Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 p.m. to time of services. Memorials are suggested to the Brown County Ambulance Service.

Her grave marker mistakenly says 1984 but she definitely died in 1983.
