

Model, Otto Moritz Walter
Was a German general and later field marshal during World War II. He is noted for his defensive battles in the latter half of the war, mostly on the Eastern Front but also in the west. W.M. was known for his expressive character and has also been dramatized on the big screen by Walter Kohut, in the movie "A Bridge Too Far" (1977) — on IMDb and Wikipedia.
