Parshall Peter Terry

(son of Timothy P. Terry and Adella May of Upper Canada). Born August 29, 1832, Upper Canada. Came to Utah July 24, 1847, Brigham Young company.

   Married:	Rosina Hadlock November 25, 1852, Salt Lake City (daughter of Chauncey and Jane Hadlock of Ogden, Utah, pioneers 1848, Brigham Young company). She was born November 16, 1832, died October 3, 1884.

   Their children:

           Sarah Ann born June 25, 1854, married John Roof;

           Parshall S. born July 6, 1856, married May Bennett;

           Rosina E. born January 1, 1859, married John Mallen;

           Durbin H. born November 11, 1861, married Jane Barnette;

           George A. born August 5, 1862, died October 20, 1863;

           Orin A. born March 29, 1864;

           Emily L. born November 11, 1866, died aged 16;

           Ellen E. born October 6, 1867, married Charles Conklin;

           Eliza Adella born August 16, 1870, married John Miles;

           Almeda born January 16, 1872, married Walter Hudson;

           Coquille born April 26, 1874, married William Glenn.

   Married:	Esther Hadlock June, 1856, Salt Lake City (daughter of Chauncey and Jane Hadlock), who was born February 12, 1841.

   Their children:

           Timothy born November 17, 1859, married Mary Ann Joyce;

           Henretta A. born February 24, 1863, married William J. Hodson;

           John born November 4, 1866, died aged 14;

           Caroline born 1868, died infant;

           Ida born November 11, 1869, married Preston S. Blair;

           Symon born 1871, died infant.

   Married:	Emily Jane Bond January 8, 1890, at Ogden, Utah, Frank Burnette officiating (daughter of Henry Bond [died], and Emily Osborn of England). She was born March 30, 1868, in England.

   Their children:

           Gertrude H. born August 8, 1895;

           Loretta J. born July 26, 1898.

   Families resided Plain City, Utah.

Member 70th quorum seventies; missionary to “Dixie” 1859-61. Justice of peace; school trustee. Farmer; blacksmith and machinist. Died December 16, 1912. Sources:
