About Pat Dallas
Patricia Victoria Dallas
Pat Dallas was a creative force for over six decades. She immersed herself in her artistry, experimenting with many mediums including charcoal, oil painting, sculpture, photography, and writing. She shared her talent as a plein air painting teacher at Glendale College.
Dallas was a gifted photographer. In the 1970s, she was the first female photographer for Playgirl magazine. Her experiences during this period was chronicled in her book "Dallas in Wonderland." Dallas traveled extensively, lived abroad, and circumnavigated the globe on her own.
Dallas is survived by her four children Chris, Nick, Jeni, and Lisa, six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Dallas lived and loved Laguna Beach; she was a champion for maintaining open spaces, and advocating the rights for dogs. Dallas was one of the remarkable characters that make Laguna Beach a haven in Orange County. She will be celebrated and have her final swim out at Shaw's Cove on June 21 at 5 p.m. A reception will follow.
