WANATAH ~ Services for Paul R. Rans, 40, former Hebron resident who resided in Wapatah for a year and who died of an apparent heart seizure Saturday, will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday at Bartholomew Funeral Home, Valparaiso, with Rev. Gene Applegate officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Valparaiso.
He was born at Kewanna on Oct. 8, 1933, son of Ethel Fay Rouch and Delbert Roy Rans, Sr.
On April 1, 1973, in Wanatah, he married Donna Lintner, who survives. He was employed by Penn Central Railroad as a tower operator and depot agent and had served four years with the Air Force.
Surviving besides the widow are four sons, Steven, Chris, Todd and Martin, and a daughter, Paula; three step-daughters, Robin, Vicki and Dawn Lintner; five sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Ethel) Stipp, Mrs. Helen Worl and Mrs. George (Lorene) Wood, all of Valparaiso, Mrs. Virginia Ruth Agnew of Kewanna and Mrs. Lois Jean Bell of Naples, Fla.; brothers, Raymond (Pete) Rans of Valparaiso, Hubert Ray of Naples, Delbert Roy of Winamac, William Richard of Kewanna, Carl Joe of Akron, Ind., Larry R. of Kewanna, and Lowell M. of Apple Valley, Calif.
