BIRD CITY, Kan.— Paul Henry Roesener, 101, of Bird City, died Tuesday (March 28, 2018), at Good Samaritan Society in St. Francis, Kan.
He was born Feb. 17, 1917, at Cheyenne County, Kan. He was a farmer/rancher.
Survivors include his wife, Edna (James) Roesener of Bird City; children, Roy (Karen) Shrader of Bird City, Stanley Shrader of McCook, Neb., Audrey (Lewis) Evins of Oakley, Kan., Sandra (Doug) Fair of Oberlin, Kan., Jaylene Shrader of Sterling, Kan., and Cathy (Larry) Atkins of Hot Springs, S.D.; brothers, Arlie (Naddine) Roesener of Springfield, Mo.; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is today until 6 p.m. at Knodel Funeral Home in St. Francis.
Services are Friday, March 30, 2018, 2 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Bird City. Burial will be at the Bird City Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the church.
Knodel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
