Pedro Longoria was the Original Grantee of a land grant from the King of Spain in 1767. The land grant was identified as Porcion 94, in the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Camargo, and is located on the left (north) side of the Rio Grande River in what is now the state of Texas.


In 1767, he received from the King of Spain, the land grants of Porcion 94 (4,650 acres). Today this ranch is known as the Santa Rita Ranch in Brooks County, Texas.
