on 2 February 1935.23 He left a will on 9 June 1936; which appointed his son Percy William Coningsby Culver and friend Ernest Hoult Nixon as Executors and Trustees and in which he stated his desire 'that having made adequate provision for my Wife during my lifetime I make no provision for her by this my Will and I wish to express my deep gratitude to her for her devotion as a wife and mother'. He made several bequests to family members and various other people, plus to the Catford Lodge of Freemasons 'towards the One thousand nine hundred and forty Festival of The Royal Masonic Institution for Boys and to each of the following Masonic Lodges.. (a) Petts Wood Lodge (b) Orpington Lodge (c) Mid Kent Masters Lodge (d) Romney Marsh Lodge (e) Park Langley Lodge (f) Heritage Lodge (g) Sydney Lodge (h) Lamarby Lodge. The Catford Chapter of Royal Arch Freemasons and the Shirley Woolmer Chapter of Royal Arch Freemasons' were to receive a legacy with deductions made for money deposited in his lifetime to the Chapters. His 'residuary estate' to be put in trust for his son Percy William Consingby Culver, daughter Catherine Margaret Mary Culver and Charlotte Newman Smith. He also made certain other provisions for the Royal Masonic Institution for Boys, the Royal Masonic Institution for Girls, the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution, the Royal Masonic Hospital, the Builders Clerks Benevolent Association and the Builders Benevolent Institution. The Witnesses were the Hospital Superintendent and the Chartered Accountant of The Royal Masonic Hospital.24 He died on 31 August 1936 at Royal Masonic Hospital, Ravenscourt Park, Hammersmith, London, at age 55; and was given on his death certificate as a 'Director of Companies/Contractor' of Tudor House, St Johns Road, Orpington, Kent.
