Percy Lidden Roberts

Percy born in NEW CADIZ FL in between Gulfport to the west and St. Pete on the north and east along with eight other siblings (6th child) at New Cadiz FL. His father William M. Roberts was born in Key West along with his brother Walter Roberts. Percy & Walter were raised by their maternal Grandparents Capt William C. Mary Ann Bethell (1870 St. Pete Census Records) because Caroline Bethell died in KW after 1860 possibly due to child birth complications(NOT Verified)but died early in life.Percy L. was a commercial fisherman and owned P.L. Roberts Plumbing Co.on 49th St. South in Gulfport FL. Percy had four children: George W., Norris Everitt, Charlotte Ann Fulford & my Father A. E. all born in St.Petersburg. All three brothers are Navy Veterans of WW II as was Percy L. who was stationed in Key West in WW I. As a commercial fisherman, his customers included Leverocks and Ted Peters restaurants among others.
