PETER ANHALT
Peter Anhalt, aged 67, residing on Valders R. 1, passed away at 3:30 a.m. on Friday at the Holy Family hospital in Manitowoc, after suffering injuries in a fall from his tractor two days before. Mr. Anhalt was born on January 4, 1878, near Millhome. November 5, 1907, he was united in marriage with Miss Margaret Schad of the town of Schleswig. The couple settled on a farm one mile northeast of St. Nazianz after their marriage, and made their home on that farm since. Survivors are his wife and four daughters; Mrs. Louis Heinzen of St. Nazianz; Anita of Los Angeles, Cal.; Hilaria of Manitowoc, and Mariann at home. Also surviving him are two brothers, John of Plymouth and Joseph of St. Nazianz, and also the following sisters; Mrs. John Gusse, Glenbeulah; Mrs. Fred Altenberger and Mrs. Carl Mahloch, Sheboygan; Mrs. John Bermke, Plymouth; Mrs. Isadore Meyer, Mrs. Edward Schad and Mrs. Alex Gerhardt of St. Nazianz. Three grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock on Tuesday morning at St. Gregory's church in St. Nazianz. - 1945
