Mother: not in FindAGrave, but Louisa Sylvia Felkel

From the first words in a document "Remembrances of Peter Jeremiah Felkel," secured by Mrs T. W. Bookhart:

" I, Peter Jeremiah Felkel, was born April 4, 1852, near Elloree, S. C. My parents being Gabriel Felkel and Louisa Sylvia Hungerpiller."

There is a discrepancy in birth dates, but we assume he was correct in his remembrance and the death certificate and subsequent marker were incorrect, but to avoid confusion, the marker date is used.* Reference: Find A Grave Memorial - SmartCopy: May 12 2022, 13:51:01 UTC
