Paragraph 1: I give and Bequeath Soul to God who gave it, my Body to be Buryed in such a manner as my Wife and Son shall think proper I also request and desire that my Dear Wife may be under the care & Conduct of my two Sons, Willm, and Peter Hanks.

Paragraph th 2d: I likewise leave my Sons William and Peter Hanks whole Executors & after all my just & lawful Debts are paid a true and Exact Divition maid between my two Sons aforsd. except such thinks as hereafte rExcepted Viz:

Paragraph th 3d: I give and bequeath to my Daughter Eliner Nelson three head of Sheep & a paire Shoes and Stockings to Robert Nelson

Paragraph th 4: I give and bequeath to my son Peter Hanks all that parcell of Land cald by and far enough, being one Hundred acres, to him and his heirs, forever This being my last Will and Testament Signed & Sealed in the presence of James Brooke, Robert "his R mark" Nelson, {signed} Peter Hankes {Seal}
