From the Lancaster (Pennsylvania) Daily Intelligencer of Thursday, Jan. 12, 1882:
Peter Mankins, who died at the age of 111 years near Little Rock, Arkansas, a few days ago, voted for Presidents Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, Jackson, Van Buren, Polk, Pierce, and Buchanan. He also voted for Mr. Tilden as well as Candidates Cass, Breckinridge, McClellan, Seymour, Greeley, and Hancock. At the last presidential election, the voting precinct was three miles from his home, but he rode in a wagon to the polls and voted for the Hancock and English electors.
