About Peter Joseph Mueller
Rites Held Wed. For Peter J. Mueller
Peter J. Mueller of Buckman passed away at St. Gabriel's hospital, Sunday morning, June 17th, at the age of 69. He had been ill with heart trouble the past six months, having been admitted to the hospital last December 17th.
His place of birth was Buckman, on October 14, 1881. He attended St. Michael's school of that place and matured in that locality, actively engaging in farming until he retired in Buckman 12 years ago. Two years of his life span were spent at Morrill, a community east of Buckman.
The date of his marriage to Mary Terhaar was Nov. 13, 1906, at St. Joseph's church, Pierz. He is the son of Nicholas Mueller and Maria Barbean, both of Buckman.
Survivors include his wife and 12 children. They are Herman Mueller, Mrs. Ann Sitzman, Henry B. Mueller, Mrs. Joe Capp, and Mrs. Steve Selinski, all of St. Paul; Mrs. Nick Goerger, Mantador, North Dakota; Mrs. E. N. Thompson, California; Mrs. Leo Hartnett, Pittsburgh, Pa.; Norbert Mueller, Brainerd; Mrs. Henry Olsen, Omaha, Nebraska; Luke Mueller, the U.S. Navy; and Andrew Mueller, at home.
There are twenty-one grandhcildren and one great-grandchild.
Among the brothers and sisters surviving are Mrs. Joe Britz and Frederick Mueller, St. Paul; and Mathew Mueller and Mrs. Joe Kappes of Buckman.
One daughter, Mrs. Steve Padabinski, 23, died June 3rd of this year, preceding her father in death.
Funeral services were conducted at St. Michael's church, Buckman, at 9:30, Wednesday morning, interment following in the Buckman cemetery.
