The 1835 Molotschna Census says that the family didn't come to Russia until 1817, so he was probably born in Prussia. He was residing at Paulsheim #19 in 1862 per the Molotschna school registers. The Cornelius Janzen submission says he was married at Lichtfelde, and that he died at Paulsheim, Molotschna. His son Heinrich's autobiography says Peter moved to Paulsheim from Muntau in 1853 ("Settlers of the East Reserve" p269.)
