"Deaths - Maria Brooks, daughter of Peter & Mary Swick, on the 4th of May 1832. Mary Swick, consort of Peter Swick, on Tuesday, May 22nd 1832 at 11 o'clock p.m. Peter Swick senior emigrated from New Jersey in the spring of 1800 from Greenwich Township aged 30 years, was with Peter Melick the first settlers and pioneers in Canborough then a wilderness; he died at his son's, Peter Swick Junior, Tuesday morning, the first day of July 1856, aged 86 years."
