Peter Tidwell

Peter Tidwell (1831 - 1909), son of Absalom Tidwell (1792 - 1845) and Elizabeth McBride (1803 - 1894), was born 27 March 1831 at Randolph, McClean County, Illinois. He emigrated to Utah in 1852. He died at the age of 77 on 23 March 1909 at Smithfield, Cache County, Utah, and was buried at Smithfield City Cemetery, Plot: a_127_8.

Please note that the memorial page for Peter Tidwell on Find-A-Grave attributes all of his children to his third wife, Sophronia Hatch. This is incorrect.

Additionally, Find-A-Grave lists his place of birth as Kentucky. Further research is needed to resolve this conflict.
