Petrus Jansen van Rensburg "Gert" (1966 - 2007)

Gert (41), was inside a supermarket during the late afternoon when an armed gang opened fire on the shoppers. Gert was herding children from the line of fire and dragging injured victims to safety when he was shot and died in hospital nearly 24 hours later.
