Petrus "Piet" Bernhard Venter (1939 – 2007)

Piet (68), fell victim to a farm attack on on the morning of 19 January 2007, His body was found at the gate of his farm Somerplaas. During the arrest of the suspects, Piet's cellular phone was recovered and an unlicenced firearm was siezed. The firearm was found hidden, and is believed to be the murder weapon.
