He was born on April 24, 1937 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois the son of the late Philbert Beppler, Sr. and Renolda Rice.

Vernon, Illinois, Robert Beppler and wife Christi of Tekonsha, Michigan and Kirby Beppler and wife Heidi of Bluford, Illinois; 18 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren; 3 Brothers: Sonny Beppler and wife Joyce of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Frank Beppler and wife Carol of Sesser, Illinois and Jack Beppler and wife Janet of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; 3 Sisters: Glenda Tate and husband J.R. of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Patsy Harriman and husband Danny of Mt. Vernon, Illinois and Peggy Rivera of Mt. Vernon, Illinois.

His parents, wife: Alice Beppler, brother: Robert Rice Bappler, 2 sisters: Dorothy Thompson and Carolyn Borowiak preceded him in death.
