North Carolina Will abstracts will proved Oct 1751 Sons: Jesse (lands on Little River known by the name of Sandy Hook), Phillip (plantation whereon I now live), Daughters: Sarah, Mary, Rachel, Jude, Elizabeth, and Miriam. Executor Jacob Perry son of Jacob Perry. Witnesses Moses Field, Benjamin Perry, Elizabeth Perry. Clerk of court Edmund Hatch. Also mentioned in this will are brothers: John and Joseph; and Jacob Perry son of his brother Joseph.

Phillip appears on the quit rents list of 1735 with 200ac owing £3. Quit rents were small fees paid by land grant owners back to the crown. Fees were sometimes not collected, and thus the crown is catching up on overdues in that list.
