Philo Forbes married Nancy Johnson. They started out in CT, and later moved to Sullivan Co., NY (around 1810), and by 1820 they were in Ft. Ann, Washington Co., NY. After 1820 they were in Ontario, Wayne Co., NY. Their children were Philo, George, Michale, Merrill, Zerviah, Polly and another daughter (Zeruah?)
