From the Phyllis' obituary in the Duluth News-Tribune of May 25, 1999: "Phyllis B. Reuter, 87, formerly of Harvey Street and Mount Royal Manor, died Sunday, May 23, 1999, in Chris Jensen Nursing Home. She was born Jan. 1, 1912, to John and Dagmar Huhta in Calumet, Mich., where she was raised and graduated from high school. Phyllis graduated from Duluth School of Beauty Culture on Sept. 22, 1931. She had worked as a beautician in Duluth and later in Cass Lake. Phyllis married Andrew Reuter on Nov. 20, 1943, in Duluth. They built a home on Harvey Street in 1952, where Phyllis resided until moving into Mount Royal Manor two years ago...She was an active member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella. Phyllis had been a docent at Glensheen Mansion for more than 15 years, beginning when it first opened to the public. She was an excellent cook and seamstress...She is survived by her sisters Hazel Dugan and Babe Nordstrom of Detroit."
