Phyllis Annette Lion

PHYLLIS LION(1923-2009) The family is sad to announce the passing of Phyllis Annette Lion (nee Joseph) on Monday, February 23, 2009, at the age of eighty-five. She was the daughter of Edward Cecil Joseph and Florence (nee Hyman) of Quebec City. Phyllis is survived by her loving husband of sixty years, Edgar (Eddie), her beloved daughter Diana, and her precious grandsons Allan and Jeremy. She was predeceased by her beloved twin sons Clifford (1999) and Douglas (2005). She is also deeply mourned by Constance Roberts, her former daughter-in-law and mother of her grandsons, and Sherrill Lion, Clifford's widow. In accordance with her wishes, her body was donated to science. She did not want a service, burial, or grave. There will be no shiva, however a memorial will be planned for the future. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the Jewish General Hospital doctors, nurses, and staff for all their kindness.
