Pierce Hawley

From an email by Linda Steimle Austin Hart (daughter of Lorene Hawley):

G. Pierce was one year younger than mom (Lorene, his sister). He died 1 year before mom on Dec 30, 2012. He was married to Isabelle (Ritchie). She died 2 weeks after mom. She was 94. they lived in Yuba City, Calif. They served a mission in Tenn or La, or someplace in the deep dark south. They always acted like they adored me and so I adored both of them. I loved staying at their house. Doug usually stayed with them when mom and dad traveled and we all got farmed out to relatives.

They had 5 children:

• Dennis (we all call him Denny) 72, my age He lives in Minnesota and has 2 daughters. He is sweet man and a good cousin. He's on facebook.
• Steve was a year younger, the same age as Doug. He was kind of a wild boy, but very soft hearted. I think today he would be diagnosed ADHD. He died of alcoholism about age 36.
• Marylee (Pelton) Hammerstrom is 65. She had 5 (Pelton) children, lives in Utah. She is on facebook.
• Marylynn twin sister. died when she was just a few days old. they were preemies.
• Laurel Stubblefield 65. 6 children. She wrote a book about WILLI AM PIERCE HAWLEY. She has 6 kids, lives in Yuba City, Calif . On FaceBook.
