Do not be confused with the record below, it is NOT the above Pinkie Simmons, It is only a mistake by the census worker in the spelling of Hankie Peel's name. Boy could things be misunderstood by this error, glad it was caught. I will leave it so that others do not make an error of judgement. Without viewing the records it could easily be misapplied.   Pinkey Peel  F (error-Hankie Peel) _____ Note: I am unsure why Pinkie Peel was living with this family at this time, but the records reflect that she latter married Odie Peel and that she was the child of Robert and Malissie Simmons on her death certificate. We may never know the facts leading up to this, but she is not the child of Warne and Lou Peel according to the records on her death certificate. We can only document what the records state. Maybe in due time we will find out, until then the records are as such. If records come that indicate otherwise Pinkie's Tree will be reflected accordingly. I think that we have as much information that we are going to locate on her. Maybe this family raised her, and she fell in love with their son. It is not to hard to imagine that occuring, she was not biologically tied to their family. Maybe they told her when she was older to understand and the relationship changed between her and Odie. It's possible. She knew him better than others if this was the case. 

Note #2: As I continue to work on this family, I see that there is a female name Hankie Peel on the 1910 Census. I believe the census worker wrote Pinkey instead of Hankie, so let the record reflect that this is not Pinkie Peel but instead Hankie Peel. : ) It all fits. The true Pinkie Simmons-Peel record is above this inaccurate one. I added the parenthesis () to highlight the error.
