Pleasant W. Lane

Pleasant W Lane was born in 1800. He was the son of Aquilla Lane and Agnes Fitzgerald. He married Mary H. Coltharp on 21 Aug 1823. After she died, he married Mary Aiken in 1849. He married thirdly Matilda Saunders on 12 Feb 1861. He was a physician and farmer.

Pleasant died in 1868 and is buried in Lockhart Municipal Burial Park, Caldwell County, Texas.

Research Notes

The primary source records list his name only as "Pleasant" or "Pleasant W" Lane. None of them spell out his middle name. Only poorly sourced family trees and unreliable secondary sources contain the middle name "Washington." It could just as well have been "William" or another name beginning with W.
