Mid Name reported as Harris or Harrison
The Pleasant Vincent Rhea who was the son of John and Sally Rhea of Lincoln County, Tennessee was born circa 1803, he moved to Washington Co., Arkansas circa 1829 after marrying Fannie B. White. He died in Washington Co., Arkansas circa 1864.
The Pleasant Vincent Rhea born 1821, died 1901 Hood Co., TX and buried in Rough Creek Cemetery is frequently confused with the P. V. Rhea born 1803. John and Sally Rhea are probably not his parents. His parents are unknown but have been proven to not be John and Sally Rhea. The problem is that both were from Lincoln Co., TN and both had the same name. They were possibly related. Some researchers have speculated that the younger P. V. Rhea was an illegitimate son of the older but evidence is needed to support it.
