At the close of the 17th century. A young pioneer Pleasant Scott and wife Sarah Hall-Scott and first baby, settled in the hills of Floyd's Fork in what is now Bullit county near the Jefferson county line in Kentucky. Here they built a log cabin. They raised a large family. Some of the names descended from this family are McKearig, Marrtin,Sargent,Cross, and Grafton.
