Polly R Alcott

Polly Rosille Page was the daughter of Gilbert Page 1798 and Lydia Eliza Gillett. Her parents married in Otsego County, New York and shortly moved to Columbus, Chenango, New York where Polly was born. There she met and married Benjamin Alcott, the son of Amon Alcott and Louisa Skinner, who had moved to Chenango County from Connecticut.

The couple lived for a short while in Chenango County, then moved to Algonquin, McHenry County, Illinois by 1856, then to Fredericksburg, Chickasaw, Iowa by 1870.
