POLLY was the last of Cornplanters children to survive

Cornplanter died in 1836, 35 yrs later his land was divided among his 6 children by a special act of the Pennsylvania legislature in 1871 partitioned the grant for the 6 children one sixth share was given to each of his 3 sons, Charles, William and Henry, and one sixth to each of his 3 daughters, Esther, Polly and Ja-wa-ioh; Polly O'BAIL LOGAN recieved her sixth share of her fathers land which consisted of 148 acres, the whole of LIBERALITY ISLAND, 62 acres, and 86 acres of Planters Fields in 1871, being of advanced age and Cornplanter's only living child, Polly made her will on Sept 6, which was then recorded at the WARREN CO Courthouse, WARREN PA, Polly died shortly after making her will in October of 1871 . Solomon O'BAIL was given 49 acres Solomons sisters Lucy O'BAIL THOMPSON of Cattaraugus and Emily O'BAIL HOTBREAD of Tonawanda were given equal shares.
