MEMORIAL PHOTOS 2 FLOWERS 3 Posey Berman Lusk, 77, of Cyclone, WV passed away August 31, 2011 in Trinity Healthcare, Logan, WV. He was born July 23, 1934 in Cyclone, WV, a son of the late Berman "Creed" Lusk (1909-1985) and Merlie Bailey-Lusk (1909-Deceased). He was a member of the Cyclone Church of God, a retired coal miner and a member of the UMWA.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife Waveline Gunnoe-Lusk (1936-2011) whom he married on May 15, 1954 in Hatcher, Wyoming County, WV (per WV Marriage License Register, Wyoming County, WV, 1954, Page 142, Application Date: May 8, 1954); two children Karen Lusk-Cook (Deceased) and Ellery Kent Lusk (1959-2010); four grandchildren, Teddy Ray Lusk (1971-2007), Ronnie Joe Boothe II (Deceased), Sherry Lusk (Deceased) and Renea Chapman (Deceased); two sisters Lorie Pearl Lusk-Lusk (1927-1995) and Rosie Lusk (Deceased) and a brother Jesse "Roy" Lusk (1929-1993).

Survivors include five children Teddy Lee Gunnoe (1953-2019) & wife Kathy Ann Osborne-Gunnoe, Elmira "Frances" Lusk-Boothe-Stewart (1955-2016), Sharon Mae Lusk-Harrison all of Cyclone, WV, Berman Okey Lusk (1956-2013) & wife Lou Lusk of Oceana, Steven "Tony" Lusk (B. 1961) & wife Kathryn "Kathy" L. Lusk of Ritchie County; eighteen grandchildren, Curtis Gunnoe, Amanda Blankenship, Jessica Lusk, Lora Acord, Cassandra Gray James David Harrison Jr. (1986-2019), Jason Coburn, Stephanie Murphy, Maranda Cook, Mitchell Cook, Ronnie Lusk and Marina Lusk; twenty eight great grandchildren; and three brothers Kennis Lusk (B. 1929) and Sheridan Lusk (B. 1937) both of Cyclone, WV and Delmas Lusk of Summers County, WV; two sisters Audarene Lusk-Barber-Walls (B. 1944) of Oceana, WV and Eleanor Joyce Lusk-Lusk (B. 1946) of Cyclone, WV; and a host of loving family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday September 6, 2011 in the Cyclone Church of God with Rev. Jackie Lusk officiating. Posey will be laid to rest beside his wife in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV.
