Notes for PRUDENCE SINGLETARY: Bladen County deed book 12, page 512: James Cain and wife to David Young - 4 August, 1809...between James Cain Jr. and Prudence Cain his wife and David Young...whereas Richard Singletary died intestate and land estate being divided among his heirs pursuant to an order of court whereby the said James Cain and Prudence his wife became lawfully seized and possessed of 54 acres of land, lot number 2, on the NW side of the NW River beginning at an ash tree on the river bank to the upper corner of John Singletary's land, lot number 1, and runs...on the river bank on the lower corner of David Young's, lot number 3, thence...$160...
