Land was devised to Prudence Cox, now wife of said Williamson, by will of (torn) Cox, her father; Signed John Williamson, Prudence Williamson; Wit: William Wilday,, Charles Ellis, Wm. Harding; Rec. 1st Mon. July 1747.
Prudence Cox married John Williamson in Goochland County 17 January (bond) 1736/7. They were living in Hanover County in April 1747 when they sold the 150 acres she inherited from her father.
