About Pte. Alexander Strawberry Vallance
Alexander Vallance was the son of John Vallance and Annie Vallance (nee Taylor). He was born at Cooper's Creek, Oxford, New Zealand. Alexander died during the 1918 Influenza Pandemic at the No. 2 Scottish General Hospital in Edinburgh. He was buried in Comely Bank Cemetery.
