About Pte. Robert Stanley Reynish

Robert Stanley Reynish was the son of George Edward Crowther Reynish and Avis Jane Le Brun (Neil). He served with the Australian Imperial Force and was wounded in action at Gallipoli and then wounded again on 12 May 1917. His brothers' Thomas Henry Reynish died of wounds, and Roger Crowther Reynish was KIA. One of his brother's Algernon Francis Reynish returned home to farming in Hokitika, New Zealand. Robert returned to New Zealand and died of phthisis tuberculosis in Christchurch Hospital on 3 July 1921.
