About Pte. Walter McKinley Watson
Walter McKinley Watson was the son of John Edward Watson and Evangeline Annie Watson (nee Dam) of 46 Onslow Road, Epsom, Auckland, New Zealand. Whilst serving during World War I, Walter was wounded and died of those wounds at the 2nd Casualty Clearing Station in France. He was buried in the Bailleul Communal Cemetery Extension.
