Watkin Eldridge Lewis was the son of Sarah Elizabeth Lewis and William Allenworth Lewis. Husband of Margaret Lewis (nee Fyfe) of 48 Clarence Street, Hamilton. Father of Watkin Willam Lewis (b 1897) and Owen Redvers Lewis (b 1900). He is commemorated on one of the bells, given by his sisters and brothers for the National War Memorial Carillon, Wellington. Brothers Samuel Lees Eldridge Lewis, Tom Eldridge Lewis and Watkin Eldridge Lewis are commemorated on the same bell. Source: Cenotaph.
