About Pte. William Burnett Allen
William Burnett Allen was the son of Arthur Burnett and Maude Hellena Allen (nee Funnell). He was born in New Zealand on 18 June 1920 (reg. 1920/16997). William worked as a porter. He signed up for the army during World War II (Service No: WWII 42409). William was killed on active service in Egypt on 19 April 1942.
