CRAWFORD COUNTY, Lincoln Township
LUCIUS FULLER, farmer and stock-raiser, P. O. New Pittsburg, was born in Whiteside County, Ill., February 4, 1842, and was reared to farming. On September 20, 1861, he enlisted in Company I, Eighth Kansas Volunteer Infantry, and did active service till the end of the war. In November 28, 1865, he was honorably discharged at San Antonio, Texas, as veteran of Company I, Eighth Kansas, having veteranized in January, 1864.
After the war, he engaged in farming in Henry County, Ill., and carried it on there actively till 1872, when he came here and located upon his present place, which has 240 acres.
