Mentioned repeatedly in "Bull Run to Bull Run; or, Four Years in the Army of Northern Virginia," written by his brother George (and available for reading on the Internet Archive).

Killed at Parker's Store near Fredericksburg, Virginia a little over three months after marrying. ∼ Member Co B, 12th Virginia Cavalry Regiment, Rosser's Brigade, Army Of Northern Virginia. CSA. Killed in action at Parker's Store Virginia.
