Mr Hemme , 64 died from self-inflicted .22 caliber rifle, dying in the basement of his house. He had been ill recently.
He was born June 30 1897 in Hardwick. He married Hattie Sophia Hansen in Luverne October 29, 1919 , they had 2 children whom survive as well as wife.......Melvin Hemme, and Mrs Freddie (Vera) Oltmans, Luverne. Other survivors include two brothers, Raymond and Emil both of Hardwick and four sisters, Mrs Carl (Lester) Dibbern, Mrs Einar (Lizzie) Lorange, Agnes Ahrendt and Mrs Arthur (Ida) Erickson, all of Luverne
