Menahem Hager was born in Borsa in 1901 to Pincas and Rachel. He was a rabbi and married. Prior to WWII he lived in Borsa, Romania. During the war he was in Borsa, Romania. Menahem perished in 1944 in Auschwitz, Camp.

רבי אלתר מנחם מנדל האגר מבורשה, נולד ביום ד' בכסליו תרנ"ז 1896 בויז'ניץ. עוד בחיי אביו נתמנה לרב בבורשא (1921), הוא ייסד שם ישיבה ובה למדו תלמידים רבים. נלקח עם בנו ר' חיים ועם מחנה גדול של יהודים לאושוויץ בכ"ט אייר תש"ג 1943 ושם ניספה.
