Rachel Vitish (Ruchla) Kohn

According to The Government Gazette of the Republic of Poland, Ruchla (married Jósef Kohn), was born on July 10, 1874, however, that date of birth seems to be incorrect, as her birth record shows that she was actually born in 1869. Ruchla’s name (showing father Sender Perle and mother Hanna Debinska) and date of birth were recorded in The Government Gazette of the Republic of Poland as having died in “obóz koncentracyjny.” In English, “concentration camp.” The year and specific camp are not given. Listed with her are her adult children Sara Pozner, Frania Kleiner, Juda Lobl Kohn, and Naftali Kohn. The names are registered by apparently Ruchla’s surviving daughter Estera Chana Schreiber (nee Kohn).
