He was surety for his mother's administration of her second husband's estate in 1602 and was madse administrator of his mother's estate in 1604.[1]

He was an Alderman of Grantham iln 1611 and 1621.[1]

Will
The will of "Radulph Clarke of Grantham in the County of Lincoln, mercer, sicke of body" was dated 10 December 1630 and proved 12 February 1630/31:[1]
to the poor of Grantham 40s; to William Wells, clerk, 20s. yearly as long as he preaches at Grantham; to eldest son Arthur Clarke L20, the still hanging in the old still house, and implements in the custody of Robgert Knutton of Folkingham, Lincoln; to three daughters by first wife (Mary, Rebecca, and Frances Clarke) L60 each when 21; to youngest childsren Joseph Clarke and Deboara Clarke L60 each when 21;l to son Benjamiln (Menhamin Clarke) L20 when 21 if now wife Cassandra is living (otherwise void); to said wife Cassandra annuity of L7-6-8 for 7 years from the profits of my shop at Grantham, along with the use and benefit (shared with my son Willm Clarke) of garden adjoining my now dwelling house in Grantham for her life; to said wife household stuff she brought with hewr, with bedding and fuel (described), cow, hay, and L5 for purchasing needed household items; to Thomas Godsfrewy, esq if the Fryers near Grantham, cousin Mr. Willm Bury, cousin Robert Halford of Sleaford, clerk, and Richad Cony of Grantham, mercer, mills (described) to be sued for paying the will's legqacies, then the rent to go to son Willm Clarke, to son Willm Clarke all unbequeathed real estate; to daughter Anne Woodmansey 20s; to daughter Elizabeth Ludlam 20s;l reside to son Willm Clarke, he to be executor; overseers Thomas Godrfewy, Willm Bury, Robert Halford, and Richard Cony they to have 6s 8d each) witnesses Hugh Wilkinson, clerk, William Bury, Richard Cony, Robt Green *(by mark) and Christopher Breene.
