Ralph Jefferson "Jack" Fowler
Ralph Jefferson "Jack" Fowler, age 95 of Danville, AR died Friday, October 10, 2003 at Oak Manor Nursing Home and Rehab Center in Booneville, AR. He was born in Gravelly, AR on December 17, 1907, son of the late Alfred Warren and Maggie Spince Williamson Fowler. He was a retired courier (Civil Service) having retired from Tinker AFB near Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and a member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorea "Jackie" Putman Fowler; a son, Donald Bruce Fowler; a daughter, LaDonna Gail Larsen; two brothers, Fred Fowler and Tony "Doc" Fowler; three sisters, Margie Bertine Rhoades, Malevia "Shug" Poindexter and Era Mae Marler.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Etta and Mike Leek of Danville, AR; daughter-in-law, Sondra Raye Fowler, Palmer, AK; two sisters, Mattie Isabel "Pat" Day of Oklahoma City, OK and Lorena "Cat" Pierce of Ola, AR; four grandchildren; Ginger Rae Fowler, Silas Jerome Larsen, Natalie Denise & Craig Alan Leek, five great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
Funeral service was Tuesday at Nola Church of Christ. Burial was in Parks Cemetery. Arrangements by Cornwell Funeral Home of Danville, AR.
