Ralph (64), was shot dead at the gate of his smallholding in Lanseria, on 7th May 2018. He had gone to draw cash at the Fourways Mall, and unbeknown to him he was followed by two armed males.

  • On 23rd June 2020, Bongani Thabani Ndlovu (35), and Jabulani Meli Dlamini (41), both Zimbabwean nationals, were sentenced to life imprisonment. They were also found guilty of armed robbery and sentenced to 15 years imprisonment - possession of unlicensed firearm - 10 years imprisonment and possession of ammunition - 10 years imprisonment.
  • Captain Marvelo Masondo said the two were also found guilty of armed robbery (15 years), possession of an unlicensed firearm (10 years) and possession of ammunition (10 years). These sentences will run concurrently
