Ralph Leroy Rowe

Fletcher (Staff) -- Funeral for Ralph Leroy Rowe, 35, of...Fletcher[, Oklahoma], will be at 2:30 pm [on] Tuesday [29 Aug 1972] at the Fletcher[, Oklahoma] First Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Pruitt of Henrietta, Tex[as], officiating. Burial will be in [the] Fletcher Cemetery under [the] direction of Robbins Funeral Home.
Mr. Rowe was dead on arrival at a Lawton[, Oklahoma] hospital at 4:49 pm [on] Saturday [26 Aug 1972].
He was born [on] Sept[ember] 27, 1936 at Hamilton, Tex[as]. He was raised in the Marlow[, Oklahoma] area, and graduated from Marlow High School in 1954. He lived in Duncan[, Oklahoma] until 1964 when he moved to Fletcher[, Oklahoma]. He was a painter.
He was married to Peggy Henderson [on] June 7, 1961 at Sterling[, Oklahoma]. He was a member of the Fletcher[, Oklahoma] Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter: Glenda; two sons: Leroy and Jimmy Don, all of the home; his mother: Mrs. Blanche Rowe of Duncan[, Oklahoma]; four brothers: Virgil of Marlow[, Oklahoma], Bill of Elgin[, Oklahoma], and Eugene and Verne, both of Duncan[, Oklahoma]; a sister: Donah Faye Rowe of Pauls Valley[, Oklahoma]; and his grandmother: Mrs. Donah Barbarick of Fresno, Calif[ornia].
