KERRVILLE — Services for Ralph E. Stoughton, 72, of Kerrville, who died Sunday in a Kerrville hospital, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Douglas McBride officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Kerrville Funeral Home. Born March 12, 1922, in Butler County, Pa., Mr. Stoughton graduated from the University of Houston with a Master's Degree in education He served in the Navy during World War II, then taught in the Houston Independent School District He worked for Exxon for 29 years, retiring in 1979. After moving to Kerrville, he started the Ralph Stoughton Insurance Agency He was a charter member and past president of the Hill Country Exxon Amimtance and was a member of the Masonic Lodge, American Legion, and Zion Lutheran Church Survivors including his wife, Marilyn Stoughton of Kerrville, a daughter, Sulney Gilhs of St Louis, Mo.; three step-sons. Curt Bo-well and Jay Falkenberg, both of Long Beach, California, and M.tik Terry of Houston, a Master, Nellie Burleigh of Livingston. eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
